A pop-up event where fans can meet the new album of the group TWS has opened today (16th).
According to Pledis Entertainment, the pop-up celebrating the release of TWS's (Shin Yu, Do Hoon, Young Jae, Han Jin, Ji Hoon, Kyung Min) mini album 'play hard' will take place from today until the 22nd at the Iconic Zone on the B2 level of The Hyundai Seoul in Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul.
The pop-up has infused the refreshing and lively energy of the new album throughout the space. The walls feature TWS's faces popping out as if from a comic, and the front photo zone is decorated with wing-shaped objects used in the album, providing visitors with special memories. Inside, visitors can find a variety of merchandise including the physical album, string bags, pouches, bandanas, clothing, and carabiners.
There are also fun events to enjoy 'play hard'. A number quest game, a listening zone where visitors can hear TWS's music and voices, and a message zone where fans can leave supportive messages for the members are set up to provide an immersive experience. Additionally, a stamp event is being held where participants can collect stamps by engaging in various missions to receive special perks.
Anyone wishing to visit the pop-up can register for the waiting system on-site for entry. From the very first day of the pop-up opening, visitors lined up to enter, confirming TWS's high popularity. Visitors enjoyed the pop-up by taking commemorative photos throughout the store.
Meanwhile, 'play hard', released on the 13th, sold over 510,000 copies on its first day, becoming a 'half-million seller'. The title track 'OVERDRIVE' topped the Bugs real-time chart and entered domestic music charts such as Melon's 'Top 100' and Genie real-time chart, kicking off its popularity. The song has also maintained the number one spot for two consecutive days (October 14-15) on the daily 'K-Pop Top 100' chart of Line Music in Japan.
TWS will perform their new song on Mnet's 'M Countdown' today (16th). They are expected to convey the intense heat of youth with a powerful stage that adds vigor to the beloved 'TWS-style freshness'.
