Actor Heo Nam-jun's agency has expressed its position regarding the disturbance that occurred at the unofficial fan event 'Birthday Cafe'.
On the 11th, the agency H-Solid stated, "Recently, the actor visited an unofficial event prepared by some fans. However, we are very sorry and deeply regret that an unexpected disturbance occurred, contrary to the original intention."
Previously, Heo Nam-jun's fans held a birthday event at a cafe to celebrate the actor's birthday. Heo Nam-jun also made a surprise visit to the cafe to meet the fans as a way to repay their affection.
However, at the time of Heo Nam-jun's visit, only friends of the event organizers and some fans were allowed entry, and it was reported that the schedule for Polaroid photos with the actor, birthday songs, and certificate presentations was conducted privately with the doors locked, leading to the disturbance.
In response, the agency stated, "After internal discussions, we would like to inform you that the actor will not individually visit or officially participate in fan events outside of official schedules in the future."
Additionally, "Heo Nam-jun always appreciates the precious feelings of each fan and wishes to respond quietly to that affection in the future," and emphasized, "We sincerely hope for a healthy fandom culture where all fans can be happy."
Heo Nam-jun, who debuted in the 2019 film 'Like the First Drink', gained recognition through films such as 'Night in Paradise', 'Hostage', 'Wedding Battle', and Netflix series 'Sweet Home' Seasons 2-3, 'Your Honor', and 'The Call'. He recently appeared as the male lead in the music video for the title track 'Never Ending Story' from singer IU's third remake album 'Flower Bookmark 3' and is set to appear in the new JTBC drama 'A Hundred Memories'.
