Stray Kids held a grand first performance at the historic opening of Toronto Rogers Stadium, marking the conclusion of their North American stadium tour.
On the 29th (local time), Stray Kids successfully completed their North American stadium tour, which was part of the world tour 'Stray Kids World Tour: Dominate', consisting of '13 performances in 10 regions', with their solo concert at Toronto Rogers Stadium.
The Toronto concert, the final stop of the North American tour, was the largest K-pop concert ever held in Canada. Rogers Stadium, a concert-exclusive venue that can accommodate up to 50,000 people, became the stage for Stray Kids' first performance since its opening in June. Coldplay, Oasis, and others are also set to perform at this venue in the future.
Opening with the majestic 'Mountains', they presented a variety of stages including the title track from their album that topped the US Billboard main chart 'Billboard 200', representative songs of the group, and unit songs from the digital single 'Mixtape: Dominate'. They expressed their feelings, saying, "I am really happy to be able to conclude the North American tour in Toronto. I was deeply moved by the many STAYs (the fandom name) filling the concert hall. Thanks to the fans, we were able to hold such a large concert. Thank you for lighting up Toronto with bright light tonight."
Starting from Seattle on May 24 and concluding in Toronto, Stray Kids set various records through this North American tour and elevated their reputation as 'global stadium artists'. They became the 'first K-pop artist' to perform at Seattle T-Mobile Park, Orlando Camping World Stadium, Washington D.C. Nationals Park, Chicago Wrigley Field, and Toronto Rogers Stadium, and they became the first artist to hold two consecutive performances at Arlington Globe Life Field.
After achieving entry and sell-out as the 'first K-pop boy group' at the San Francisco Oracle Park concert, they received significant media coverage from ABC and CBS's western regional news, as well as prominent California daily newspapers. The Empire State Building in New York and the Willis Tower Skydeck Twin Antennas in Chicago were also illuminated in red, symbolizing the group.
Having held their first North American stadium performance in Los Angeles in March 2023, Stray Kids filled large stadiums across all 10 regions in North America with enthusiastic crowds, reaffirming their rapid growth and popularity. They will embark on their debut European tour, consisting of 8 performances in 6 regions, starting from the Johan Cruyff Arena in Amsterdam on July 11.
