The 'King of Kings' competition in 'Immortal Songs' is not over yet. The war of the gods to seize the ultimate throne begins again.
The KBS2 broadcast of 'Immortal Songs' on the 5th (directed by Park Hyung-geun, Kim Hyung-seok, Choi Seung-beom) will unfold as '2025 King of Kings Part 2'.
Following the explosive scale and performances that garnered significant attention in Part 1, the lineup for this Part 2 is also diverse and spectacular. A total of five teams, including So Hyang, Yang Dong-geun, Gyro, Heo Yong-byeol, Jung Jun-il, Shin Seung-tae, Choi Soo-ho, and La Poem, are set to present thrilling stages that can only be seen on 'Immortal Songs'.
So Hyang, Yang Dong-geun, and Gyro, specially formed for this King of Kings stage, will perform 'Gangsta’s Paradise' by Coolio. Heo Yong-byeol, known for his male vocal prowess, has chosen 'Good Day' by IU as a bold selection. The uniquely emotional Jung Jun-il will sing 'How Can Love Be Like This' by Lee Seung-hwan, while the traditional music trot brothers Shin Seung-tae and Choi Soo-ho will uplift the mood with 'Fireworks' by Oksun80. The vocal Avengers, La Poem, aim for victory with 'The Leopard of Kilimanjaro' by Jo Yong-pil.
Forestella, who set the record for 'six consecutive wins' in the King of Kings, has been generating buzz with their anticipated full team return. For their first performance after returning, they have selected 'Abracadabra' by Lady Gaga, promising an unprecedented performance to announce the legend's comeback.
In a previously released teaser, Go Woo-rim's bold smoky makeup, after completing his military service, has heightened fans' interest. Additionally, it has been reported that Forestella has recruited a special large crew for this full team comeback stage, raising expectations for their performance as a special highlight of '2025 King of Kings Part 2'.
This special event is the biggest event of 'Immortal Songs' in the first half of 2025, where only the strongest, who hold the 'King of Kings ticket' by winning the trophy, are given the opportunity to participate. A total of 10 teams of artists will engage in a fierce battle for the throne of 'King of Kings', recognized as the best artists of 'Immortal Songs'.
