Broadcaster Jung Sun-hee recalled the time of her husband's passing, Ahn Jae-hwan.
On the 2nd, Jung Sun-hee released a video content on her YouTube channel 'Jung Sun-hee Who Left Home' where she went on an outing to Paju with her niece, Yeon-woo.
In the moving vehicle, Yeon-woo said, "When I was in elementary school, there was a rolling paper where we wrote our role models. I wrote 'Jung Sun-hee' there. When the kids asked who it was, I said, 'Our aunt!'"
In response, Jung Sun-hee said, "That was the hardest time for me. It was when she (my niece) was 4 or 5 years old. I was hospitalized at that time. I was so shocked that I was on the brink of death," cautiously sharing her past of losing her husband.
"I saw my niece come into the hospital, and the five-year-old was holding back tears. I still can't forget that sight," Jung Sun-hee said. "My niece really loved me. She was so attached to me that her mother was jealous. Seeing her aunt lying in the hospital, I think she felt that as a baby, she couldn't adapt and thought, 'I shouldn't cry.'"
Jung Sun-hee expressed her gratitude, saying, "When I was at the peak of my career as a celebrity, my niece was a baby. When my niece was really interested in celebrities, I had already fallen from grace, but just the fact that she spoke of me as someone she respected made me very proud."
Jung Sun-hee debuted as a comedian in the first SBS public recruitment in 1992. She married actor Ahn Jae-hwan in 2007 but experienced the pain of loss the following year.
