As allegations of a fraudulent marriage surfaced, Lee Beom-cheon, a participant in the program who was edited out, has been in a relationship with Jeon Yeon-hwa for a year.
Jeon Yeon-hwa, a participant in JTBC's senior dating reality show 'End Love', revealed on the 16th through their couple's social media account that she and Lee Beom-cheon were holding hands affectionately, stating, "Our first meeting began on May 6, 2024."
She mentioned, "Our connection started through the dating program 'End Love' on JTBC," and added, "It has been a year since we met, and we want to share 'our stories' that we couldn't show on the broadcast."
Jeon Yeon-hwa explained, "It was very upsetting at the time when our narrative was completely erased due to the unfortunate rumors about Beom-cheon. He also wanted to express his position regarding the unfair situations he faced, but at that time, he couldn't even talk about his own circumstances due to various situations."
She continued, "As a result, misunderstandings snowballed, leading to a flood of rumors and speculative YouTube videos, and due to baseless malicious comments, Lee Beom-cheon suffered from severe panic disorder and had to receive psychiatric treatment for over three months. He also had to wrap up his business."
She revealed that she also suffered from malicious comments and went through a tough time because of it. "I truly met my end love through this program," she said, "I didn't want to let go of our connection. I believe that the truth, though slow, will eventually be recognized, and we have wisely endured the difficult times for a year," expressing her deep trust in Lee Beom-cheon.
Last year, an online community posted claims that Lee Beom-cheon, a participant in 'End Love', had pretended to be single and committed marriage fraud in the U.S., causing controversy. As a result, Lee Beom-cheon's segments, which had garnered a lot of support from female participants and made him a popular figure, were completely edited out after just two episodes, and the narrative of the anticipated final couple, Lee Beom-cheon and Jeon Yeon-hwa, was not aired.
