The group Ailee One has denied rumors of a suspension of activities and disbandment.
On the 24th, their agency FCNM released a statement regarding the disbandment rumors through Ailee One's official SNS.
The agency stated, "It seems that some people have been confused due to unverified information that has been spreading through unofficial channels recently, so we would like to provide an official statement on this matter," and added, "Currently, Ailee One is continuing team activities without disbandment or suspension, and the members are preparing for reorganization to greet fans with a better appearance."
They continued, "Speculative content that is not based on facts can cause unnecessary worry and misunderstandings for the members and fans," and urged, "Please refrain from spreading and sharing unverified information, as accurate information will be provided through official channels."
The day before, Ailee One posted on their official SNS, "It has been a truly unforgettable time for Ailee One and Only One (the fandom name) to laugh and cry together," and expressed gratitude for showing that the heart to support someone can be so beautiful and warm, and that such feelings can be the greatest force that moves life.
They added, "Now we return to our daily lives, but until the day we meet again, I hope the precious memories shared with Ailee One will give Only One the strength to live each day."
This led to speculation that they were effectively suspending activities or disbanding.
In particular, the fact that they stated "this is the last performance" during a recent concert in Tokyo, Japan, added weight to the disbandment rumors.
Ailee One is a six-member multinational group that debuted in April 2022.
