The group XG successfully completed their first performance at Coachella, proving their strong global influence.
On the 13th (local time), XG took the stage at the largest music festival in the United States, the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, and closed the finale of the Sahara stage, the largest indoor stage at Coachella.
Amidst the enthusiastic response from the audience, XG kicked off their performance with ‘HESONOO+X-GENE’, followed by ‘WOKE UP’ and ‘GRL GVNG’, igniting the excitement on site. XG captivated the local audience with a total of 13 overwhelming performances, including ‘LEFT RIGHT’, ‘IN THE RAIN’, ‘IS THIS LOVE’, and ‘SHOOTING STAR’.
In particular, XG elevated the atmosphere with their intense dance performances infused with their unique style. The stage, featuring newly arranged songs with a band sound and special stage production for Coachella, led to audience sing-alongs and cheers throughout the performance. Even after the stage ended, the cheers did not stop, proving XG's fierce popularity.
XG expressed their feelings, saying, “This is the stage we have dreamed of since our debut. We have renewed our determination that this is just the real beginning. We hope for a lot of expectations moving forward.” Following this, XG's Coachella performance hashtag ranked 5th in global trends and 2nd in the U.S., proving their worldwide relevance.
Meanwhile, XG will perform on the same stage again on the 20th (local time). Additionally, XG is preparing for their world tour ‘The First HOWL’ with an additional performance in Seattle, USA, and shows in South America (São Paulo, Mexico City). They are set to conclude the tour at Tokyo Dome on May 14.
