Broadcaster Bae Seong-jae (47) and former SBS announcer Kim Da-young (33) have become legally married.
A representative from Bae Seong-jae's agency SM C&C stated on the 28th to Maeil Business Star Today, "Bae Seong-jae and Kim Da-young have completed their marriage registration and recently returned from their honeymoon." They added that specific details are difficult to confirm as they are private matters.
Bae Seong-jae and Kim Da-young announced their marriage in February. The two, who met through the SBS variety program 'Goal Diggers', overcame a 14-year age difference and got married after two years of dating. At that time, they stated that they would not hold a wedding ceremony but would instead have a family dinner to celebrate.
Bae Seong-jae entered the broadcasting industry as a KBS 31st public recruitment regional announcer in 2005 and moved to SBS as a 14th public recruitment announcer in 2006, where he thrived. After resigning in 2021, he transitioned to freelance work and appeared in various entertainment programs such as 'Goal Diggers', 'National Team is National Team', 'Hello Trot', 'Ramen Kkondae', 'Flame Band', and 'Legendary League'.
Kim Da-young worked at Mokpo MBC and Busan MBC before joining SBS as a career announcer in 2021.
