Sung Si-kyung's makgeolli brand 'Gyeongtakju 12 Degrees' is celebrating its first anniversary while also opening up a sales channel for export to Japan, marking a double celebration.
From the 22nd to the 25th, 'Gyeongtakju 12 Degrees' will be available for pre-order in limited quantities of 2,500 bottles each day at 11 AM on Qoo10, an online open market in Japan. Local consumers who purchase in Japan will be able to receive their products sequentially starting from February 28.
Sung Si-kyung announced this news through his social media channels, which interact with his Japanese fans, stating, "I am now able to share 'Gyeongtakju 12 Degrees,' which was first introduced in Korea last year, with my fans in Japan." He added, "Finally, after just one year, 'Gyeongtakju 12 Degrees' is being launched in Japan."
Thus, 'Gyeongtakju 12 Degrees,' which was first unveiled on February 22 last year, has successfully expanded its sales to the Japanese market within a year of its launch, while also continuing to sell out in Korea amidst rave reviews, significantly increasing brand recognition in just one year.
'Gyeongtakju 12 Degrees' is a traditional liquor made using rice, nuruk, yeast, and acid regulators, characterized as a high-alcohol makgeolli that is rich and non-carbonated, gaining a hot reputation for its taste and quality.
Additionally, it has been selected as the grand prize winner in the traditional liquor category for our liquor _ takju _ fresh makgeolli at the '2024 Korea Liquor Awards,' rapidly rising as the next big makgeolli.
Meanwhile, 'Gyeongtakju 12 Degrees' is available for purchase on the official site at 11 AM and 7 PM on weekdays, and the brand 'Gyeong' is set to launch 'Gyeong Soju' this year following the introduction of 'Gyeongtakju 12 Degrees' last year.
