Singer KCM confessed the reason he hid his wife and two daughters for 12 years.
On the 15th, the TV Chosun show 'Joseon's Love Fool' depicted broadcaster Kim Byeong-man meeting KCM ahead of his remarriage.
On that day, KCM told Kim Byeong-man, "I was surprised to see your (remarriage) article and thought about calling or texting, but I didn't. When my (marriage) article first came out, I received a lot of messages. I felt sorry for not being able to reply to each one." To this, Kim Byeong-man comforted him, saying, "Didn't you suffer in your heart before me?"
KCM then revealed, "I actually had a lot of debt. I was so scared that if I got married, it would become family debt, which is why I had to hide my family."
He explained that when he finished repaying the debt, he registered his marriage while crying with his wife. The following month, he publicly announced his marriage.
KCM said, "To be honest, I was very scared when I opened up about my marriage. I had been cowardly for over 10 years. It was personal, but I couldn't talk about it. Celebrities work and act under the love and gaze of the public," he said cautiously.
