Shin Hyun-joon expressed his gratitude to his close friend Jung Joon-ho for his special appearance in ‘Ghost Police’.
On the afternoon of the 13th, a screening and press conference for the movie ‘Ghost Police’ was held at CGV Yongsan I-Park Mall in Seoul, attended by director Kim Young-jun and actor Shin Hyun-joon.
Shin Hyun-joon said, “Before giving the script to Jung Joon-ho, I asked him to make a special appearance, saying it would be a significant role. I had a cameo in a project of Jung Joon-ho, and although it was supposed to be a cameo, I ended up appearing for about three weeks.”
He continued, “I hoped Jung Joon-ho would get a good laugh, but he was cast without knowing there were many action scenes. When I arrived on set, the martial arts team trained me for six hours, and I ended up doing a lot of fighting,” he joked.
Shin Hyun-joon also said, “I did my best until the end, and we ended up with some great action scenes. I am very grateful. When Jung Joon-ho asks me to do something, I readily agree, so I’m thankful that he also readily accepted. He did his role very well.”
‘Ghost Police’ is a family comedy about a police officer who, after experiencing an unexpected disaster without ever hitting the jackpot, gains a trivial ability and gets entangled in unexpected events with his family. It will be released on the 24th.
