The 'New Year Debate', which was scheduled to air on the 2nd, was postponed due to the aftermath of the Jeju Air passenger plane disaster. A heated discussion will take place on the topic 'Where is Korean Politics Heading in 2025?'
The discussion will address the political situation brought about by the December 3rd martial law and the causes of the political events that led to impeachment proceedings from the illegal martial law, and derive the tasks left for us by this situation.
The discussants include Jeong Seong-ho, a member of the Democratic Party, Park Hyung-jun, the Mayor of Busan, Lee Cheol-hee, former Chief of Political Affairs at the Blue House, and Lee Jun-seok, a member of the Reform Party. Member Jeong is referred to as the elder brother of the pro-Lee Jae-myung faction. Mayor Park, former Chief Lee, and Member Lee have all previously participated as members of the current affairs talk show 'Sseoljeon'.
The discussion will be moderated by Oh Dae-young, the anchor of 'Oh Dae-young Live', with anchor Lee Soo-jin also participating. An audience of 70 will also take part, posing sharp questions to the discussants.
