Blackpink's Rosé has denied rumors surrounding her solo song.
On the 17th, a video titled "Rosé Takes a Lie Detector Test" was posted on the YouTube channel of the American monthly magazine Vanity Fair.
In the video, Rosé answered various questions while placing her hand on a lie detector. Notably, she addressed rumors regarding the title track of her first solo album, "Rosie," titled "Toxic Till the End."
As "Toxic Till the End" is known to be about Rosé's painful past relationships, some speculated that the protagonist of the song might be rapper Jaden Smith, the son of singer Will Smith.
After performing at Coachella, Rosé took a photo with Jaden Smith, and in a previous interview, she revealed, "I had a big fight with my ex-boyfriend the day before the concert," which fueled rumors that Jaden Smith might be her ex-boyfriend.
However, Rosé denied the dating rumors. When the host asked, "Is the protagonist of the title track Jaden Smith?" Rosé replied, "No. But he's a good friend. We've never even dated," while laughing.
