Chef Lee Yeon-bok sent a message of remembrance for his long-time close friend, the late Jeon Yoo-sung.
On the 26th, Chef Lee Yeon-bok posted on his Instagram, "My brother Jeon Yoo-sung, with whom I always had a great time. Every year, we would meet, eat delicious food, and you would share fun stories without resting. I will never forget our last meal together while you were on an oxygen mask. I will forever remember you making jokes even during that time."
The accompanying photos show Chef Lee Yeon-bok creating memories with the late Jeon Yoo-sung in various places both domestically and internationally.
Chef Lee added, "Brother, may you rest in peace, and please share many fun stories in heaven later. I love you, brother."
Chef Lee Yeon-bok, who had a close friendship with the late Jeon Yoo-sung for over 20 years, also appeared together on JTBC's 'I Will Go to Study Abroad in Malta' in 2019.
Meanwhile, Jeon Yoo-sung passed away on the 25th at 9:05 PM at Jeonbuk National University Hospital. His condition worsened due to pneumothorax, and he passed away while receiving treatment.
The funeral will be held as per the comedian association's regulations. The burial site is in Inwol-myeon, Namwon-si, Jeonbuk, where the deceased operated a noodle restaurant during his lifetime, and the funeral procession will take place at 7 AM on the 28th.
The farewell ceremony will be held at 6:30 AM, and after the procession, a memorial service will be conducted at the 'Gag Concert' recording studio in Yeouido KBS.
