Actress Choi Kang-hee shared her honest thoughts.
In the 48th episode of the reality street food documentary 'Jeon Hyun-moo Plan 2' (co-produced by MBN and Channel S), which aired on the 26th, Choi Kang-hee made an appearance.
On that day, Jeon Hyun-moo headed to Jangchung-dong to meet Choi Kang-hee. The two first visited a bakery established in 1946, indulging in nostalgic cream bread and monaka in a 'bread mukbang'. Next, they went to a famous pig's trotters restaurant known as the 'original of the original' to enjoy front leg pig's trotters.
After tasting it, Choi Kang-hee exclaimed, "Is pig's trotters this tender? I never thought it would become my soul food," expressing her happiness. During the conversation, Jeon Hyun-moo asked, "Don't you often hear people say, 'Why do you look so young?'" to which Choi Kang-hee humbly replied, "Where is the youth now? Everyone in the country looks young~" She continued, "These days, I really feel like I'm getting older. When I look in the mirror at home and then see something I bought online that kids are wearing, I feel different from them," she candidly shared.
Additionally, when Jeon Hyun-moo asked, "It's surprising that a procrastinator like you got into running," Choi Kang-hee responded, "I think shaking my body helps organize my organs. The best part is that when I run like 'Run Hani', it helps relieve stress in a healthy way."
Jeon Hyun-moo then cautiously asked, "Since we're in our late 40s, do you have any realistic concerns?" Choi Kang-hee replied, "I wish I had a close friend like Lee Hyori or Hong Hyun-hee. There was a time when I didn't want to live alone and felt very lonely, but now I wonder, 'Is this how I'm getting older?' and it scares me. I feel like my hopes have almost been crushed."
In response to Choi Kang-hee's honest confession, Jeon Hyun-moo directly asked, "I bet you haven't been asked this recently... What is your ideal type?" However, Choi Kang-hee replied, "I don't want to answer that..." revealing her 'no comment' stance, while also adding, "When will I meet my ideal type? When will I date? Let's just go eat pig's trotters~" which left the scene in laughter.
As the 'same-age' mukbang and 'shared feelings' talk between Jeon Hyun-moo and Choi Kang-hee wrapped up the special episode on 'popular restaurants', the co-produced variety show 'Jeon Hyun-moo Plan' will return to viewers with Season 3 on October 17 at 9:10 PM after a two-week reorganization.
