Singer Sung Si-kyung, who faced controversy over the fact that his agency was unregistered, has resumed his YouTube activities.

On the 22nd, Sung Si-kyung posted on his YouTube channel 'Sung Si-kyung', saying, "I will upload three videos next week. I should have promoted (Lim) Seulong's fan meeting this weekend, and I'm really sorry. The videos will be 'I Will Sing', 'I Will Eat', and 'I Will Call'."

He first uploaded the content 'I Will Sing', featuring singers Lim Seulong, Jo Jae-joong, and Soyou. This was a week after he released the content 'I Will Eat' on the 15th, just before the controversy over the unregistered agency arose.

The video is 35 minutes long, and the four of them, including Sung Si-kyung, show active musical exchanges.

Viewers who watched the video mostly shared their impressions of the songs, with few mentioning the controversy surrounding Sung Si-kyung. Just before this, there were many critical comments about him regarding the controversy on various videos.

However, as Sung Si-kyung faced the controversy head-on, fans seem to be supporting his activities as if nothing happened.

Sung Si-kyung's YouTube channel, which has about 2.15 million subscribers, has gained attention through various contents like 'I Will Eat', 'I Will Meet', and 'I Will Sing'. He had been sharing 2-3 pieces of content weekly but temporarily halted activities due to the controversy.

Recently, it was confirmed that Sung Si-kyung's one-man agency, SK Jae-won, has not been registered as a public cultural arts planning business for about 14 years since its establishment in February 2011, leading to controversy.

In response, the agency stated, "At the time the corporation was established in February 2011, there were no relevant regulations. After regulations regarding registration were established, we did not receive any official documents. We are currently aware of this and have inquired about registering as a public cultural arts planning business."

Subsequently, it was revealed that various celebrities' agencies, including Kang Dong-won, CL, Song Ga-in, Seol Kyung-gu, and Lee Ha-nee, were also unregistered, which diluted the criticism that had been focused solely on Sung Si-kyung.

Thus, it seems that Sung Si-kyung has wrapped up the incident without any further comments on the controversy and has resumed his activities. However, according to the police, Sung Si-kyung's agency has been reported for violating the Public Cultural Arts Industry Development Act through the National Petition.

According to the 'Public Cultural Arts Industry Development Act', public cultural arts planners must register with the Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism through the administrative agency of the business location (Article 26, Article 38), and those who violate this and operate can face up to 2 years in prison or a fine of up to 20 million won.

The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism has announced that it will operate a 'period of guidance for agency registration' until December 31 to create a legal compliance environment across the industry and establish a sound industrial order in light of this incident.
