Comedian Heo Anna has announced that she will undergo a revision surgery.
On the 12th, Heo Anna posted a video on her SNS saying, "I will have a nose revision surgery after 21 years."
Heo Anna explained, "I had my first nose surgery in 2004, and at that time, I had surgery with Gore-Tex. I heard that this material tends to adhere more over time, causing the tip of the nose to rise significantly. For the past 6-7 years, I have felt a sense of contracture as my nostrils became visible, and my nostrils started to become crooked."
She continued, "I have received a lot of consultations at plastic surgery clinics over the years, but I hesitated to undergo surgery because a flashy nose didn't suit me. I don't want anything flashy or exaggerated," and added, "I found a clinic that meets my needs and made an appointment."
Heo Anna mentioned that she is currently preparing to transition into acting, saying, "I wondered if it was right to come out as an actress. (However) it felt a bit strange to say I didn't have nose surgery when it's obvious that my nose has changed," explaining her reason for being open about it.
After the surgery, she held a Q&A session with her SNS followers. In response to comments asking if she was okay, Heo Anna said, "It was really tough." She added, "The first surgery might hurt less, but a revision! Autologous rib! If it's surgery, it really hurts."
She then said, "I finally came to my senses," and expressed her pain by saying, "I went through hell because of the cough."
