Actor Kim Min-jae transforms into Dr. Yun Bong-gil.
On the 30th, Kim Min-jae will take on the role of the protagonist Yun Bong-gil in the UHD documentary drama 'My Friend Yun Bong-gil' airing on KBS1.
'My Friend Yun Bong-gil' is a documentary honoring the life and spirit of independence activist Dr. Yun Bong-gil. Having completed his military service in March, Kim Min-jae is gaining attention for choosing this work as his comeback project on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of liberation.
As this year marks the 80th anniversary of liberation, Kim Min-jae has a strong will to remember the pain of losing the country and to commemorate it. He felt a heavy responsibility in portraying a historical figure like Dr. Yun Bong-gil, and he dedicated himself to conveying that meaning deeply during filming.
