The ‘2025 Supermodel Contest’ has confirmed its finalists.
On the afternoon of the 15th, from 1 PM, the preliminary round of the ‘2025 Supermodel Contest’ was held at SBS Prism Tower in Sangam-dong, Mapo-gu, Seoul, where fierce competition unfolded amidst a heated atmosphere.
The preliminary round of the ‘2025 Supermodel Contest’ was hosted by SBS Sports announcer Ahn Hyun-jun, and the applicants were evaluated in two rounds, focusing on their walking, posing, and talent performances. Despite the intense tension, the applicants took to the stage with full enthusiasm, doing their best to showcase their charm in a short amount of time to the judges.
Dance was the dominant talent showcased by the applicants. Most of them danced to K-pop idol group songs, including Jennie's ‘like JINNIE’, Le Sserafim's ‘fearless’, and (G)I-DLE's ‘Super Lady’. In addition to dance, the applicants captivated the audience with various talents such as acting, singing, shadow boxing, volleyball, baseball, cello, ballet, traditional Korean dance, and magic.
Notably, a diverse range of unique applicants participated, including active trot singers, idols, rappers, idol trainees, vocal trainers, actors, office workers, dancers, cheerleaders, baseball players, and shooting athletes. Participants from foreign countries such as Poland, Belgium, Germany, and Senegal also took to the preliminary stage.
The list of finalists who passed the first and second rounds of the preliminary evaluation has been released. A total of 22 finalists, consisting of 11 men and 11 women, have secured their tickets to the finals.
The ‘Supermodel Contest’ has established itself as the best model selection contest in South Korea. This year marks its 31st edition, and it aims to select the best model entertainers with talent, passion, and the ability to work in various fields, including fashion and entertainment. The finals are scheduled to take place in November.
