On the 31st, a video titled 'Nam Gyuri Music Talk Show | Ep.10 Live with Heo Yong-byeol | The People Who Shine the Most When Singing' was posted on Nam Gyuri's YouTube channel 'Gyu-mung'.
This episode was the final part of a campfire live session with special guest Heo Yong-byeol, as Nam Gyuri went camping on Seokmodo Island.
After leaving her agency last year and embarking on a solo career, Nam Gyuri resumed her singing activities through the 2025 project album 'Memory The Memory'.
Nam Gyuri shared, "I sang for almost 14 years, but then I only acted. At that time, it was difficult to juggle singing and acting, and there were no opportunities to make music. So I thought, 'I will never be able to sing again'."
However, the presence of her niece rekindled her desire to pursue music. Nam Gyuri confessed, "I played the guitar and sang for my niece, and she loved it so much. Seeing that made me suddenly think that I had to sing again."
The song she shared with her niece was none other than Bruno Mars' 'Treasure'. Heo Yong-byeol burst into laughter at the unexpected song choice.
Heo Yong-byeol supported Nam Gyuri's new beginning by singing C-ya's hit song 'Crazy Love Song' together, and by the end of the song, tears had welled up in Nam Gyuri's eyes. Overwhelmed with emotion, Nam Gyuri expressed, "It feels really good to be able to rely on and lean on each other. I'm envious," revealing her admiration for Heo Yong-byeol's friendship.
When questions about a C-ya reunion arose, Nam Gyuri hesitated to speak but cautiously replied, "I believe in fate, and there is a timing for everything; I don't think it's something that can be forced." However, she suggested, "If the day comes when our hearts are united, wouldn't a joint performance of 3 vs. 3 be nice?" to which Heo Yong-byeol responded with excitement.
During the live performance, songs like Heo Yong-byeol's 'What is this?', Heo Gak's 'Tears Pouring Down', and Shin Yong-jae's 'I'll Lend It to You' followed, and it concluded warmly with Nam Gyuri and Heo Yong-byeol singing C-ya's 'Love's Greeting' together.
