The fan club of actress Song Da-eun (34) has publicly supported her after she self-revealed her relationship with BTS's Jimin (30).
On the 27th, a statement believed to be written by Song Da-eun's fan club was released on the DC Inside Female Celebrity Gallery.
The statement included, “We quietly support the love that Song Da-eun has chosen,” and expressed the hope that “this love will strengthen not through the eyes of others but through the time the two of them build together.”
It continued, “While the attention and gaze of those around can sometimes feel heavy, true love becomes stronger not in the spotlight but in the quiet daily life and steadfast companionship,” adding, “We wish for her to firmly protect her own heart and for her sincere feelings towards her partner to remain unwavering.”
Furthermore, it stated, “We will continue to support Song Da-eun as she lives her life independently, both as an actress and as an individual,” and “We will listen more to her voice than to the external noise.”
Recently, Song Da-eun shared a video on the social media platform TikTok featuring Jimin. The video showed Song Da-eun waiting in front of an apartment elevator, and when the elevator doors opened, Jimin appeared. Jimin then said, “Oh, you surprised me. Did you know I was coming in? I came without saying anything on purpose,” while smiling at Song Da-eun.
The video spread across social media and online communities, sparking dating rumors between the two. However, Jimin's agency, Big Hit Music, has not released any official statement.
In June, Song Da-eun also made comments that seemed to reference her relationship with Jimin during a live broadcast on social media. At that time, she said, “I hope you all get what you did to my family. Please get punished,” and added, “Just because the idol you like loves me doesn’t mean I deserve to be criticized. I didn’t even pursue him first,” while breaking down in tears.
She also hinted at revealing more, saying, “Please don’t say anything to me. I’m really angry and I don’t know what I might throw.”
