Singer Heize confessed that she went through a slump and expressed her gratitude towards senior singer Psy.
On the upcoming episode of JTBC's 'Knowing Bros' airing on the night of the 2nd, singers 10CM's Kwon Jung-yeol, Heize, and Bolbbalgan4's Ahn Ji-young, who are responsible for many people's playlists, will appear. They are expected to showcase their sweet 'honey voice' along with their vibrant sense of entertainment.
Kwon Jung-yeol revealed, "The song 'To You' is one I sang to earn 500,000 won for a djembe during my unknown days," and when asked if he favors songs that earn a lot of royalties, he humorously responded, "Of course, I have favorites. Favoritism encourages the less popular songs to work harder."
Kwon Jung-yeol shared a funny behind-the-scenes story about featuring on Heize's song 'Lips', saying, "I received a song from Heize but then had it taken back, and she even asked me to feature on it. Psy came to the recording site and gave direct feedback, which made the recording take longer and was quite challenging."
Meanwhile, Ahn Ji-young and Heize discuss the slumps they experienced after their debuts. Ahn Ji-young mentioned, "I received love from the start of my debut, but after continuously promoting, I became overloaded and took a break for about two years," adding, "I felt anxious even while resting, but I was moved to tears when I heard the crowd singing at a university festival after a long time."
Heize expressed her gratitude, saying, "I recently fell into a long slump, but Psy helped me a lot to overcome it."
Additionally, special stages that can only be seen on 'Knowing Bros', including a duet stage between Heize and Kwon Jung-yeol, hit song medleys, OST medleys, and swapping each other's hit songs, will also be revealed.
