YouTuber Park Wi, who was diagnosed with paralysis from the waist down, stood up with the help of a machine.
On the 3rd, a video titled 'Park Wi's Desperate Confession Standing on Two Feet' was released on the YouTube channel Wiracle.
In the video, Park Wi said, "Shall I try to stand up today?" and moved from the living room to the bedroom. Inside the room, there was an upright assistive device that he had used during physical therapy.
Just before standing up, Park Wi asked his wife Song Ji-eun, "Will you be impressed?" to which Song Ji-eun replied, "I'm ready."
Then, Park Wi successfully stood up with the help of the machine. Seeing this, Song Ji-eun said, "You look like someone who used to stand. It doesn't look awkward at all," and gave him a back hug.
In response, Park Wi said, "Let's really stand up," and expressed, "I want to do small things with Ji-eun. I want to hold hands and walk together. I will really stand up," showing his emotional side.
Meanwhile, Park Wi has been focusing on rehabilitation since being diagnosed with total paralysis after a fall in 2014, and he currently lives using a wheelchair. He married Song Ji-eun, a former member of the girl group Secret, in September 2024.
