Singer Jo Jae-ju has clarified rumors about his wife.
On the 2nd, the MBN entertainment program ‘Let’s Go’ (Let’s Go) Season 5 featured baseball player Lee Dae-ho, comedian Kim Min-kyung, actor Lee Ho-cheol, and singer Jo Jae-ju.
During the broadcast, Ahn Jung-hwan asked Jo Jae-ju about his first meeting with his wife, and Jo Jae-ju recalled, “I was running a café and a bar, and my wife came in as a customer. While I was performing live, she touched my belly. So I thought, ‘Who is this woman?’ and she was beautiful.”
Jo Jae-ju continued, “My wife said she liked me, so we started dating three days after we met. (Since my wife is so beautiful) at first, there were rumors that she was a gold digger from Hannam-dong. There was disbelief that ‘a woman that pretty could like Jo Jae-ju.’ It took a long time to dispel those rumors,” he added.
Meanwhile, ‘Let’s Go’ Season 5 is a nationwide housewarming tour program where Ahn Jung-hwan and Hong Hyun-hee visit special and meaningful places, such as a friend’s house or a workplace that best represents the person, to share life stories. It airs every Saturday at 8:20 PM.
