It has been revealed that actor Jang Geun-suk is a building owner in Shibuya, Japan.
On the 16th, the MBC entertainment show ‘Radio Star’ featured guests including actor Jang Geun-suk, FT Island's Lee Hong-ki, Tomorrow X Together's Soobin, and comedian Kim Shin-young.
On this day, MC Kim Gu-ra said, “When it comes to Hallyu stars, Yon-sama and Jang Geun-suk are representative.”
In response, Kim Shin-young explained, “When I went to Shibuya, Japan, I saw women of various ages taking pictures of a certain building. It’s a small but substantial building that is called the ‘Jang Geun-suk building.’ So fans and customers take photos there.”
Kim Gu-ra then asked, “What kind of businesses are located in that building?” to which Kim Shin-young replied, “There’s a café as well.”
Jang Geun-suk expressed surprise, saying to Kim Shin-young, “That’s right. How did you know that? It’s the building right behind the department store.” Kim Gu-ra pointed out, “It’s because you were active when the yen was strong.”
Jang Geun-suk mentioned that he is also active as a singer in Japan, stating, “In addition to my acting activities, I am involved in various unit activities as a singer. I am active in various forms such as solo singer, EDM unit, and a five-member band. When we perform as a band, we do busking and sometimes get paid. There’s also a rule that we only eat as much as we earn that day.”
Jang Geun-suk is known to own real estate worth around 130 billion won, including a building in Shibuya, Tokyo, as well as properties in Samseong-dong and Cheongdam-dong in Seoul.
