Actress Jung Young-joo expressed her affection for Lee Si-young, with whom she collaborated on 'Salon de Holmes'.

In a recent interview following the conclusion of the ENA drama 'Salon de Holmes', Jung Young-joo talked about Lee Si-young, who is pregnant with her second child after her divorce.

Lee Si-young married a businessman who is nine years her senior in 2017 and gave birth to a son. However, she faced a divorce in March after eight years of marriage. Currently, she is pregnant with her second child, having undergone tests and procedures without her ex-husband's consent.

'Salon de Holmes', which concluded on the 15th, was filmed last year. Jung Young-joo revealed that Lee Si-young was contemplating divorce during filming, saying, “She seemed to be very worried. I just told her, ‘I think it would be good to think about your happiness first.’” Jung Young-joo herself married in 2000 but faced a divorce in 2013, and she has one son.

Regarding Lee Si-young's second pregnancy, she said, “It must not have been an easy pregnancy, and I think it’s amazing. I can only imagine how long she must have thought about it.” She added, “Although she is already a mother to a son, it must not have been easy with the divorce overlapping.”

She continued, “Life is something we only know from our own perspective. It’s not easy to understand or observe someone else's life. While I can’t ask for understanding, I hope people will just support her for a safe delivery without adding comments on her personal life.”

Meanwhile, on the 8th, Lee Si-young confessed her pregnancy on social media, stating, “During my marriage, I prepared for my second child through IVF. However, a long time passed without the embryo being implanted.” She explained, “As the legal relationship with my ex-husband was being finalized, coincidentally, the five-year expiration date for the frozen embryo was approaching, and I had to make a choice. I decided to have the embryo implanted just before the disposal date.”

In the meantime, her ex-husband also stated in an interview with a media outlet, “It’s true that I opposed the second pregnancy, but now that she is pregnant, I will fulfill my responsibilities as a father.”
