Singer Soyou from Jeju candidly shared her thoughts on 'Socks Were Pulled Off'.
On the 16th, a video titled 'I Had a Fun Drink with My Great Singing Junior Colleagues Who Have Great Chemistry' was uploaded to the YouTube channel 'Sung Si Kyung'.
In this video, Soyou shared drinks with Jo Jae-joong, Lim Seul-ong, and Sung Si Kyung. Sung Si Kyung mentioned that all three of them are from different hometowns and asked Soyou, "Did you watch the Netflix drama 'Socks Were Pulled Off'?"
Soyou replied, "I watched it, but I was a bit disappointed." At her unexpected comment, Sung Si Kyung quickly responded, "Let's edit that out," and Lim Seul-ong expressed concern, saying, "We're making a comeback."
This is because it is a globally popular work.
Soyou explained, "You have to listen to the Korean language until the end," adding, "I wasn't disappointed in the quality of the work, but since there wasn't as much Jeju dialect as I expected, there wasn't much special for me as someone from Jeju. When I watched the drama 'Our Blues', it was fun that people couldn't understand it. I liked that it was interpreted." She continued, "I wanted to do that again this time, but I couldn't. (Of course) I enjoyed the work."
