On the 7th, Lee Soo-geun listed a building in Sangam-dong, Seoul on the land transaction platform Value Map. The building has 3 floors with a total area of 229.88 m² (69 pyeong), and the desired selling price is 3 billion won.
The owner is Lee Soo-geun's wife, Park Ji-yeon. Since the building was expanded and re-registered in 2013, she has been the sole owner. Lee Soo-geun has been registered as the debtor. In other words, the ownership is with his wife, while all the debts are borne by Lee Soo-geun.
The maximum claim amount for the building is 864 million won, and considering that the maximum claim amount is usually set at 120% of the loan amount, it is estimated that Lee Soo-geun borrowed about 720 million won using this building and land as collateral. However, the ownership of the land is jointly registered under Lee Soo-geun and Park Ji-yeon.
The couple purchased the building in February 2011 under joint ownership. At that time, it was an old house, but after changing its use and going through the expansion process, it was reborn as a small building with a land area of 165.0 m² (about 49.91 pyeong).
The building is currently listed for sale at 3 billion won, and the real estate platform Value Map also evaluated the building's value at 2.98 billion won compared to the average price of surrounding buildings as of the 27th of last month.
They got married in 2008 and have two sons.
Park Ji-yeon experienced worsening kidney function due to pregnancy-induced hypertension during her second pregnancy in 2011 and received a kidney transplant from her father. However, she has been undergoing dialysis treatment for the past 10 years due to difficulties in recovery.
Medical professionals recommended a re-transplant in 2021, and she underwent detailed examinations to receive a kidney from her biological brother.
