As the police decided not to prosecute former Adore CEO Min Hee-jin for breach of duty, Hive announced that it would file an objection.

On the 15th, Hive stated in an official position, "We plan to file an objection with the prosecutor's office today regarding the decision not to prosecute the breach of duty case filed against former CEO Min Hee-jin and others last year."

Earlier that day, the Yongsan Police Station in Seoul announced that it had decided not to prosecute Min's breach of duty charges, stating, "It is difficult to recognize any criminal charges."

Hive reported former CEO Min Hee-jin for breach of duty on April 25 of last year. At that time, Hive submitted a complaint based on KakaoTalk conversations among Adore's management, claiming to have detected signs of an attempted takeover of management rights.

In response, Min's side argued that Hive holds 80% of Adore's shares, making it impossible to seize management rights due to the share structure. They also claimed that there was no intention or action to harm the company's value or commit breach of duty.

Hive stated, "After the police investigation, new situations arose, such as the New Jeans members declaring the termination of their contracts, and numerous new pieces of evidence were submitted in related trials," adding, "Since the appellate court (Seoul High Court) judged that Min was 'intentionally destroying the integrated structure that was the premise of the exclusive contract,' we want to contest the decision not to prosecute in the objection process."

Additionally, they noted, "The investigation authorities decided not to prosecute the case in which former CEO Min Hee-jin filed complaints against five Hive executives for obstruction of business and violations of the Information and Communications Network Act (defamation) last July. We also inform you that all the indiscriminate complaints and accusations made by Min's side against Hive and its affiliated employees have also concluded with a decision not to prosecute."

Meanwhile, former CEO Min Hee-jin is a key producer who gave birth to the group New Jeans, which is currently in a contract dispute with Hive's label Adore.

After the breach of duty allegations surfaced, Min left Adore and is currently engaged in lawsuits regarding the confirmation of the termination of shareholder agreements and damages against Hive and its affiliated labels.
