Byun Jung-min (49), who transformed from a model to a businesswoman, made a profit of over 2 billion won by selling her property after four years.

According to the real estate industry on the 25th, Byun Jung-min sold a small building (a medium-sized building) near the Itaewon tourist district in Hannam-dong, Yongsan-gu, Seoul, which she purchased for 2.6 billion won on July 26, 2021, for 4.95 billion won last April. She made a profit of 2.35 billion won in less than four years.

The building, which received usage approval in April 2017, has a total land area of 86.9㎡ (26.29 pyeong), a total floor area of 130.7㎡ (39.53 pyeong), and consists of 1 basement floor and 3 above-ground floors. It is said to have stable rental income and liquidity due to the presence of a famous shoe brand. The deposit is reported to be 144 million won, and the monthly rent is 12 million won.

Byun Jung-min purchased the building in her name four years ago. The registration document shows that a mortgage of 2.88 billion won is set up in the name of a bank. Considering that the maximum amount of the bond is usually set at 110-120% of the loan amount, it appears that Byun Jung-min borrowed about 2.4 billion won, and the actual investment amount is estimated to be 200 million won.

However, considering that Byun Jung-min purchased it as an individual rather than a corporation, it is known that more than half of the sale profit will have to be paid as tax.

Byun Jung-min is the younger sister of actress Byun Jung-soo and debuted as a fashion model in 1994. She has also engaged in acting through works such as 'The Club of the Good Wife', 'Beautiful Temptation', and 'Heungbu's Park Burst'. In 2005, she married international lawyer Choi Jin-young and has two daughters. Since then, she has been running a design company after engaging in interior design, stationery, and leather goods businesses.
