Actress Shim Eun-kyung shared behind-the-scenes stories about her participation in the movie 'Miss Granny'.
On the 25th, Shim Eun-kyung appeared as a guest on tvN's 'Yoo Quiz on the Block'.
On that day, Shim Eun-kyung talked about her sudden decision to study abroad in the U.S. after establishing herself as a leading actress in Chungmuro through the movie 'Sunny', saying, "I felt that if I didn't go now, I wouldn't have a life as a teenager. I wanted to experience a bit more of my late teenage years, so I left for New York. I spent about two and a half years there."
Afterward, Shim Eun-kyung hit another jackpot with her comeback film 'Miss Granny'. She revealed, "In fact, I had declined the role of 'Miss Granny' once. I was unsure. I thought I lacked the experience to portray that role."
She continued, "However, director Hwang Dong-hyuk persuaded me by saying, 'This role cannot be played by anyone other than Shim Eun-kyung.' That's how I ended up participating."
Meanwhile, 'Yoo Quiz on the Block' airs every Wednesday at 8:45 PM.
