
Single mother and actress Lee Si-young has donated 100 million won to Seoul Asan Medical Center. She expressed her warm heart, asking for the funds to be used for the treatment of child patients, coinciding with her return to broadcasting.
The donation from Lee Si-young will be used to improve the medical facilities and environment of the pediatric department at Seoul Asan Medical Center, aiming to create a better hospital environment.
Lee Si-young has consistently practiced sharing and spreading positive influence. During the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, she provided 10 million won to single mother businesswomen. In 2021, she donated 20 million won to the non-profit organization Durue for children who have suffered abuse. She has also donated 100 million won annually to the Beautiful Foundation in 2021 and 2023, helping to provide winter supplies for vulnerable groups and supporting housing stability for youth with borderline intellectual functioning.
Lee Si-young, who married a restaurant entrepreneur in September 2017 and had one son, announced her divorce earlier this year after eight years of marriage. She is currently meeting viewers through the ENA Monday-Tuesday drama 'Salon de Homes,' which premiered on the 16th.
