Actress Go So-young revealed the reason for her challenge to a fixed variety show after 33 years.
On the morning of the 23rd, the production presentation for MBN's new variety program 'Oh Eun-young Stay' was held via online recorded broadcast. The event was attended by Oh Eun-young, Go So-young, Moon Se-yoon, and PD Lee So-jin.
'Oh Eun-young Stay', which will premiere at 9:10 PM on the same day, is a program planned as a special for MBN's 30th anniversary, featuring people who have experienced pain that can come to anyone in life, entering a temple stay to soothe their weary hearts and spending two days and one night seeking comfort, empathy, and various solutions.
Go So-young, who is challenging her first fixed variety show in 33 years, said, "The influence of the teacher was the biggest factor in my decision to participate."
She added, "If you are a citizen of South Korea and a parent, you would want to meet the teacher in person to confirm if your path is right," and "Personally, I have a close relationship with the teacher and have received great help, so I gladly accepted the offer to appear."
Go So-young also mentioned, "Rather than presenting solutions or answers, I have experienced various roles such as a mother and daughter while raising children over 15 years of marriage. I participated with the hope that there would be common ground to share in that process. In fact, I received even greater comfort and strength."
She continued, "My family has been very supportive at home. My son and daughter are also fans of Oh Eun-young, and I received encouragement like 'Mom, have a good time' as I left."
'Oh Eun-young Stay' will premiere on the 23rd at 9:10 PM.
