Actress Shin Ae-ra expressed her anger over the fake news surrounding her.

On the 14th, Shin Ae-ra posted a short video on her SNS with the message, “I’m alive...”

The released video shows Shin Ae-ra engaged in volunteer work outdoors. She shared, “This place has nearly 50 boys. I came here today to make burgers for them,” and then mentioned, “I’m alive. I didn’t die,” referring to the fake news.

Shin Ae-ra said, “A person who came to volunteer with me called me crying yesterday, asking if I was dead,” and expressed her displeasure, saying, “Why do you post such ridiculous news? What kind of benefit do you get from such terrible news?”

She continued, “If you look on YouTube, it shows not only me but many celebrities as dead,” and urged, “Don’t believe it, at least search for their names. If there’s no article from a credible media outlet, it’s fake news.”

Actor Yoon Yoo-sun, who saw the post, also shared, “Several people have asked me too,” and agreed, “There’s too much fake news. It’s time to develop discernment.”

Earlier, in March, Shin Ae-ra had also addressed the fake news about her arrest, stating, “The agency is considering filing a criminal complaint.”
