Actress Ra Mi-ran expressed her dissatisfaction with Ahn Jae-hong calling her 'mother'.
On the 10th, Ra Mi-ran and Ahn Jae-hong appeared on the YouTube channel 'Theo' in 'Salon Drip 2'.
On that day, Ra Mi-ran asked Ahn Jae-hong, who calls her various titles like mother, sister, teacher, and senior, "What do you have me saved as on your phone? Is it saved as 'mother'?" Ahn Jae-hong, avoiding eye contact, appeared flustered and said, "Why do I feel like I have to beat around the bush?"
Ahn Jae-hong explained, "I think it's probably saved as 'Ra Mi-ran senior' on my phone. When we first met, I called her 'senior', but during filming, it changed to 'mother'." Ra Mi-ran and Ahn Jae-hong played a mother-son duo in the 2015 drama 'Reply 1988'.
Ra Mi-ran said, "I think it's time to stop calling me 'mother'. For the first few years after filming 'Reply 1988', when I received texts saying 'omani' (mother), I would respond, 'Oh, okay. My son.' But that has continued for 10 years." She added, "There is still a family group chat from 'Reply 1988'. In that chat, Kim Sung-kyun is called 'father'."
