Singer Jung Dong-won (18) expressed his desire to enlist in the Marine Corps.
On the 12th, Jung Dong-won posted a video on his personal YouTube channel 'Jung Dong-won (JD1)' featuring actor Oh Jong-hyuk, who is a former Marine.
In the video, Jung Dong-won revealed his military service notification letter, saying, "I felt good yet strange receiving this. Since I don't know anything, I wanted to ask," as he warmly welcomed Oh Jong-hyuk.
Jung Dong-won stated, "I want to go to the Marine Corps reconnaissance unit. If I was born a man, I want to go in style."
He added, "Both my grandfather and father served in tough military units. My father is a former member of the 707 Special Mission Unit. We've talked a lot about the military. So if I'm going to serve, I want to do it like a man, in style."
In response, Oh Jong-hyuk said, "I think Dong-won will go to the Marine Corps. Most friends who think the military is tough but cool end up joining the Marine Corps."
Jung Dong-won enjoyed a good time with Oh Jong-hyuk, listening to military stories and doing physical tests.
When asked if he had changed his mind about joining the Marine Corps after hearing all the stories, Jung Dong-won replied, "No. I'm just a man. Victory!" showcasing his determination to enlist in the Marine Corps.
