A story has emerged about a lottery ticket purchased after the wife dreamed of actor Byun Woo-seok, which won the first prize.
According to the lottery agency Donghaeng Lottery on the 11th, Mr. A, who purchased a lottery ticket in Wonju, Gangwon Province, won the first prize in the 'Spitto 2000' 61st round and will receive 2 billion won.
Mr. A said, “While on a date with my wife in Wonju, I thought of the lottery and visited a lottery sales point,” adding, “I was only planning to buy Lotto, but Spitto 2000 caught my eye, and I bought one set thinking of my wife.”
After that, Mr. A handed the lottery ticket to his wife, who was waiting in the car, and went out to buy something. In the meantime, while waiting for her husband, his wife scratched the 'Spitto 2000' and, surprisingly, won the first prize.
Mr. A recounted, “My flustered wife showed me the lottery ticket when I arrived after shopping and asked, ‘Is this really a win?’ We comforted each other, saying we had worked hard, and were happy.”
He added, “Recently, my wife dreamed of actor Byun Woo-seok. (In the dream) Byun Woo-seok appeared with a halo in a large event hall. He called out my wife's name loudly during a prize event, gave her a gift, and hugged her,” which surprised everyone.
When asked about the use of the prize money, Mr. A said, “I plan to pay off the loan and buy a house,” and added, “Thank you, Byun Woo-seok, for bringing luck to our family.”
'Spitto 2000' is an instant lottery that connects two first prize tickets into one set for sale. The maximum prize is 2 billion won. After taxes, about 1.4 billion won will be received.
