Actress Sahgang shared her recent status after undergoing endometriosis surgery.
On the afternoon of the 9th, Sahgang opened up on her SNS, saying, "I thought there might be people curious about the surgery and hormone medication, so I wanted to write a few words."
Previously, Sahgang had appeared on SBS Plus and E Channel's 'Solo Because' in April, where she shared updates about her endometriosis surgery.
Sahgang first revealed that she had no significant symptoms until the day before her hospitalization. She recalled, "On the day of admission, I woke up to a pain I had never experienced before, struggling to even stand, and headed to the hospital. They said they would give me painkillers, but I just endured it. The 7cm mass inside had ruptured and was causing pain everywhere, but I foolishly held on," reflecting on that time.
She expressed her fears about taking hormone medication, saying, "Before the surgery, I was worried and searched a lot online, but I only found articles about side effects from hormone medication, and it was hard to find anything positive."
Sahgang introduced the medication she took, stating that she did not experience weight gain or menopausal symptoms.
In conclusion, she urged, "I really think health is the best. Let's all be healthy and not be in pain!"
Sahgang married non-celebrity Shin Se-ho and had two daughters, but sadly lost her husband in January last year after 17 years of marriage.
Sahgang debuted in 1996 with the KBS drama 'Faraway Country' and temporarily halted her acting career after marriage. She made her comeback in 2019 with 'Spring is Coming', and her most recent work was the ENA drama 'Namib' aired last year.
