Jang Won-young, a member of the group IVE, has received damages from the operator A of the YouTube channel 'Anti-Fandom Facility'.

According to reports from Maeil Business Star Today on the 4th, Jang Won-young recovered the 50 million won in damages that was ruled in her favor in a lawsuit against A filed last January.

Jang Won-young's legal representative, lawyer Jeong Kyung-seok from the law firm Riu, stated in a phone call with Star Today, "We have completed the recovery of the 50 million won in damages along with interest from the 100 million won that 'Anti-Fandom Facility' had deposited." Previously, lawyer Jeong Kyung-seok had mentioned on the tvN entertainment show 'You Quiz on the Block' that they were in the process of recovering the damages.

Separately, Jang Won-young's agency Starship Entertainment is also pursuing civil and criminal lawsuits against A. In a criminal trial held last January, A was sentenced to 2 years in prison with a 3-year probation, and the prosecution has appealed the verdict.

Additionally, on the 4th, the Seoul Central District Court ruled in the first instance of the damages claim lawsuit filed by Starship Entertainment against A, stating, "A (defendant) must compensate the plaintiff (Starship Entertainment) 50 million won," resulting in a partial victory for the plaintiff.

A is accused of producing and distributing malicious rumor videos targeting Jang Won-young and several other celebrities through the YouTube channel 'Anti-Fandom Facility'.

Last September, A was fined 10 million won for defaming singer Kang Daniel, and two months later, was ordered to pay 30 million won in a civil damages lawsuit filed by Kang Daniel. Furthermore, in February, a ruling was made to pay 76 million won to BTS members V and Jungkook.
