Lee Chan-won will make a guest appearance on ‘Gaojeong’.
The new KBS2 variety show ‘Gaojeong’ (short for ‘Ganeunjeong Oneunjeong Lee Min-jung’), which premieres on the 16th, is a program where essential goods are delivered to a rural village via a mobile convenience store, and various stories are shared while spending a night there. Lee Min-jung serves as the main host, with Boom, Ahn Jae-hyun, Kim Jung-hyun, and Kim Jae-won as fixed members.
‘Gaojeong’ is already generating buzz with its glamorous guest lineup even before its broadcast. The top MC of South Korea, Shin Dong-yup, has confirmed his guest appearance due to his connection with Lee Min-jung. Additionally, for a special episode themed around the globally popular ‘Squid Game’, actors Wi Ha-jun and Park Gyu-young, along with a super special guest whose identity is kept under wraps, will visit ‘Gaojeong’.
In this context, on the 14th, a super special guest who will brighten ‘Gaojeong’ was revealed. It is none other than Lee Chan-won, the star of the 2024 KBS Entertainment Awards. Lee Chan-won recently completed filming in a rural village with the ‘Gaojeong’ production team.
Lee Chan-won is a representative singer at the center of the trot craze and is an all-around entertainer active in various programs with his exceptional talk skills and smooth hosting abilities. Moreover, Lee Chan-won showcased his outstanding cooking skills through KBS2’s ‘Newly Released Restaurant’. Since ‘Gaojeong’ involves spending a night in a rural village with the members, his delightful cooking skills are also expected to stand out.
