Actor Jin Tae-hyun visited the hospital with his wife Park Si-eun before his surgery.
On the 7th, Jin Tae-hyun posted on his Instagram account, "Pre-surgery tests with my wife. Fighting!"
Previously, Jin Tae-hyun revealed, "This is news that will eventually be known, and there are too many people who already know, so I can't hide it quietly. I have been receiving messages asking where they heard it." He continued, "In April, my wife and I had a health check-up, and everything was healthy, but I was diagnosed with thyroid cancer and am facing surgery."
He added, "It was discovered early and is very small, but I must have surgery before it spreads to other areas. Due to various personal difficulties and stress, I think my heart has been a bit strained. However, I feel like I've been doing well with the support of my loving wife and our son, Thor Mir."
Jin Tae-hyun also stated, "Until the surgery, I will manage my filming schedule and overseas commitments while taking breaks and not overdoing it, so please don't worry too much." He expressed his strong will, saying, "Although it's a 'good cancer' and a slow cancer, cancer is still cancer. We were a bit surprised, but as always, we will let it go and overcome it."
