The Japanese national idol group Arashi has announced their final concert tour.

On the 6th, the five-member boy band Arashi posted on social media, stating, “We have started moving to hold a concert tour next spring with all five of us together again. This tour will mark the end of Arashi's activities.” The fan club operations will cease at the end of May 2026.

Arashi suspended group activities in December 2020 for rest and personal activities. After that, there were expectations that they might resume group activities by establishing their own agency to celebrate their 25th anniversary last year, but ultimately, they chose an independent path.

Debuting in 1999, Arashi has produced numerous hit songs and enjoyed explosive popularity as a national group in Japan. They have set remarkable records, including cumulative album sales of 54.16 million copies and the most number one hits on the Oricon single chart. The members are also active in individual pursuits. From leader Ohno Satoshi to Sakurai Sho, Aiba Masaki, Ninomiya Kazunari, and Matsumoto Jun, all members maintain top positions in fields such as acting and MCing.

As the announcement of Arashi's last concert as a group was made, local netizens reacted with comments like “I don’t want to let them go,” “It’s so disappointing,” “Will we ever see a group like this again?” “I really want to go to the concert,” “My heart hurts so much,” and “They have worked hard for a long time.”
