The movie 'Until Dawn: Infinite Loop Death Game', based on the game of the same name, promises extreme horror and is set to be released in April.
On the 24th, Sony Pictures announced this news and released a teaser poster and teaser trailer.
The film follows Clover and her friends, who reach an abandoned visitor center in the mountains while searching for her brother who went missing a year ago. They experience a night filled with mysterious deaths and struggle to survive until dawn in a survival horror thriller where the number of deaths is limited in an infinite loop game.
It is based on the horror game 'Until Dawn'. Since its release in 2015, 'Until Dawn' has gained worldwide popularity as a PS horror adventure game with immersive graphics, a thrilling story, and various endings that change based on the player's choices.
The poster released that day features an hourglass symbolizing the endlessly repeating night, capturing attention. The visitor center where Clover stays to search for her missing brother has a chilling atmosphere, and numerous skulls and corpses are stacked below like a grave, hinting that something ominous is about to happen to them.
"Every night, a new horror repeats. Survive until dawn," the tagline suggests that Clover and her friends must face completely different horrors and threats to survival each night, raising curiosity about whether they can solve the clues of the mystery-filled survival game and escape.
