Actor Lee Dong-wook (43) left a message saying "Finally spring" right after the impeachment of former President Yoon Seok-yeol.
On the morning of the 4th, Lee Dong-wook shared a photo of cherry blossoms in full bloom along with a message on the fan communication platform Bubble, saying, "Ah, finally spring. Winter was too long."
He added, "There was a forecast for rain today. But it's really clear," and encouraged everyone to "go out and have fun since the weather is nice. Enjoy your Friday night."
Earlier that morning at 11:22 AM, the Constitutional Court unanimously decided to impeach former President Yoon Seok-yeol with all eight judges in agreement.
The Constitutional Court declared, "We impeach the respondent, President Yoon Seok-yeol." Acting Chief Justice Moon Hyung-bae stated, "The respondent (President Yoon) mobilized military and police forces to undermine constitutional institutions such as the National Assembly and violated the basic human rights of the people, neglecting the duty to uphold the Constitution," adding, "The benefits of upholding the Constitution gained by impeaching the respondent far outweigh the national losses resulting from the impeachment."
Meanwhile, Lee Dong-wook had previously expressed his support for fans who participated in impeachment rallies by sharing Girls' Generation's "Into the New World." He is currently appearing in the tvN drama "Divorce Insurance."
