The members of 'Running Man' checked their New Year's fortunes.
The SBS variety show 'Running Man' aired on the afternoon of the 12th, themed 'Fortune-Telling 2025 Race'.
During the broadcast, the production team said, "Last week, we asked you to prepare a gift and a handwritten letter for yourself as a punishment. Let's start with Yoo Jae-suk." In response, Jae-suk said, "I haven't really gifted myself much," and took out a music box and a nutcracker doll, reading a letter he wrote to himself: "Jae-suk, you worked really hard this year! I hope you live a healthy and happy life, doing what you want and wishing for the life you desire."
Next, Kim Jong-kook prepared gifts and letters for Ji Suk-jin and Song Ji-hyo. He wrote a letter on A4 paper, saying, "I prepared a luxury hat for my brother who loves hats and luxury items. Then, fortune teller Park Sung-jun appeared, and Ji Ye-eun was the first to read her fortune. The fortune teller said, "You have a somewhat delicate side. As a result of the score tally, the members with the lowest scores—Suk-jin, Ji-hyo, Jong-kook, and Ye-eun—wore snake costumes and completed the mission by giving plush toys to citizens.
After the second ladder game, each had their meal time, and while Yoo Jae-suk, Ji Suk-jin, and Song Ji-hyo enjoyed cold pork belly, Ji Ye-eun said, "I have a personal talent!" and performed a dance and a toad impression to win some pork belly wraps.
After the meal, the members arrived at the set and played a game where the first to eat a donut on a rope would win, with Yoo Jae-suk leading the way and drawing lines on the ladder.
Ultimately, among the final members confirmed for punishment—Kim Jong-kook, Ji Ye-eun, Haha, and Yang Se-chan—Haha and Yang Se-chan were hit with cream bombs, while Ji Suk-jin, Yoo Jae-suk, and Song Ji-hyo were exempt from punishment.
