Singer Jo Kwon has taken a stand against impersonation damage.

On the 24th, Jo Kwon's agency, Archive Morning, announced, "We have received reports of cases where the personal information of artist Jo Kwon was obtained and used for extortion for monetary purposes."

They added, "This is a clear illegal act, and we take this very seriously. We have already appointed the law firm Hoam and have begun legal action."

The agency also stated, "We will take all legal measures without leniency or settlement," and urged, "If you discover any threats, personal information leaks, or other criminal acts against not only Jo Kwon but all our artists, please report them to us."

Jo Kwon debuted in 2008 as a member of the group 2AM. He has been loved through hit songs such as 'This Song', 'To You Who Won't Answer the Phone', and 'I Can't Let You Go Even If I Die'.
