Detective Hong Seung-man, a former North Korean agent, will reveal the intense investigation stories on 'Hyung, Suda'.
In the 5th episode of the Wave X E Channel original web entertainment 'Hyung, Suda', which will be released on the 2nd, Detective Hong Seung-man will share behind-the-scenes stories of investigations, including the first long-term unsolved case, the Hwaseong serial murders, and the child abuse case involving a current deputy chief prosecutor. KSCI Commissioner Yoon Wae-chul, who is currently appearing in 'Brave Detectives' Season 4, will also join the broadcast.
Detective Hong Seung-man has appeared in episodes 4 (Murder in Uido), 16 (Red Riding Hood Serial Rape Case), and 42 (Murder Case of Shopping Mall Partners) of 'Brave Detectives' Season 3, making him the most frequent guest in the show's history.
Contrary to his current gentle 'baby face' impression, Detective Hong Seung-man reveals a charismatic and surprising past that astonishes everyone. His background as a North Korean agent prompts Han Sang-jin to exclaim, "He's like a living Tom Cruise." Detective Hong generously shares vivid experiences from his time as a North Korean agent.
He also mentions a secret investigation he conducted with Commissioner Yoon Wae-chul. Before the arrest of Lee Chun-jae, the Hwaseong serial murder case had expired its statute of limitations, and at that time, Commissioner Yoon, who was the head of the Hwaseong Western Police Station, called Detective Hong separately to assign him a special secret mission. The behind-the-scenes details of the top-secret investigation conducted at the Hwaseong Western Police Station will be fully revealed.
In addition, Detective Hong Seung-man will recount the investigation of the child abuse case involving a current deputy chief prosecutor. It was particularly shocking to discover that the deputy chief prosecutor was not only a victim of indiscriminate violence by an acquaintance but was also complicit in the child abuse, leaving Kim Won-hee and Han Sang-jin in disbelief.
Investigating a current prosecutor required immense courage, but the story of Detective Hong Seung-man, who dedicated himself to uncovering the truth of the case, along with the strong support from Commissioner Yoon Wae-chul, will be revealed.
