The dangerous ‘fishing romance’ of Ok-soon from ‘I Am Solo’ Season 24 begins.
In the episode airing on the 12th, SBS Plus and ENA's reality dating program ‘I Am SOLO’ (hereafter referred to as I Am Solo) will reveal Ok-soon's ‘1:1 flirting extravaganza’ after the much-discussed ‘5:1 date’ with the solo men.
On this day, Ok-soon will return to the accommodation after having a ‘5:1 date’ with the choices of Young-soo, Young-ho, Young-sik, Young-cheol, and Sang-cheol. Afterward, she will call each solo man one by one for a ‘1:1 conversation’ at the accommodation.
During one of these conversations, Ok-soon expresses her interest by saying, “I thought I could learn a lot from our conversation,” and “Whether in a relationship or marriage, I think I could broaden my perspective thanks to you, and I like that.”
Following that, in another ‘1:1 conversation’ with a different solo man, she compliments him, saying, “I felt like it would be okay to date,” and “I thought it would be nice if someone like this were my boyfriend.”
Eventually, when meeting yet another solo man, Ok-soon praises him, saying, “He’s really a good candidate for a husband; I think it would be great to marry this person,” making him smile widely.
Watching Ok-soon’s ‘flirting strategy’ of repeating similar lines to three men, MC Song Hae-na expresses concern, saying, “But aren’t the lines too similar?” Defconn also gives serious advice, stating, “There’s a shelf life to flirting. It’s already the fourth day in Solo Land; shouldn’t we start to organize things?”
The solo men cannot hide their fluctuating feelings due to Ok-soon’s ‘hope torture.’ After finishing a ‘1:1 conversation’ with Ok-soon, one solo man reveals his intentions, saying, “I felt a subtle change from her, so I became a bit more certain,” while another solo man expresses confidence, saying, “Ok-soon said she has two people she likes, and I’m trying to think that one of them is me. Even if I’m not the type she’s attracted to, I think I fit the kind of guy she wants.”

Thanks to the remarkable performance of Ok-soon, the flirting queen of Season 24, the broadcast on the 5th recorded an average rating of 3.8% (based on paid broadcasting households in the metropolitan area, combined figures for SBS Plus and ENA), with a peak rating of 4.2%. Additionally, it ranked 4th in the Fun Index chart (as of February 4) for ‘TV Non-Drama Popularity,’ following ‘I Am SOLO, Love Continues After That’ (Na-sol-sagye) which ranked 2nd, continuing its popularity streak.
