The National Assembly held a plenary session at 4 PM that day, with all 300 members present, resulting in 204 votes in favor, 85 against, 8 invalid votes, and 3 abstentions, thus passing the impeachment motion against President Yoon. It appears that 12 members of the People Power Party, who maintained their party's opposition stance, voted in favor.
Ahead of this impeachment vote, several celebrities, including singer IU, Lee Seung-hwan, Girls' Generation's Yuri, Jang Bum-jun, Jaurim's Kim Yoon-ah, and New Jeans, showed their support for the impeachment both directly and indirectly, drawing attention.
